University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) have entered into a partnership with and Castle College to quality assure - and thereby validate - the new Diploma on the world stage. The Partnership is called 4cPM.

University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) (www.cie.org.uk) is the world's largest provider of international qualifications for 14-19 year olds. In addition to its portfolio of qualifications, CIE offers established, successful training providers a seal of approval for their programmes and courses, giving students and their employers the quality assurances they demand. CIE has carried out an evaluation of the IDPMpl programme, and validates both the programme content and the assessment system established by 4cPM to administrate student entries. As such, 4cPM is a Cambridge Quality Assured Partner (QAP), delivering a UK Level 4/5 qualification, which, for successful graduates, leads to the award of a University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Diploma.

viewYes. It is possible to achieve the full 4cpm / University of Cambridge International Examination (CIE) validated International Diploma –Higher Professional Level (IDPM) at PASS level (Academic Level 6 equivalent - Degree) and at DISTINCTION level (Academic Level 7 equivalent - Masters)

Will there be a University of Cambridge Internationa Examinations (CIE) Award Event where sucessful candidates are formally presented with their Award ?
viewYes. Award Ceromonies will take place in the local region, or at Cambridge, UK.

What is the academic level of the Award ?
viewThe academic level of the IDPM Award is UK Level 6 equivalent at PASS, and UK Level 7 equivalent at DISTINCTION. These are Degree and Masters academic levels respectively.

How useful is the IDPM Award to me as a working project manager ?
viewThe IDPM is a global qualification. It is intended to have wide application for project management staff that take responsibility for defined projects, or multiple projects. It is also suitable for staff that manage the achievement of goals and targets within an organisation’s core activity. 4cPM’s IDPM Award recognizes the growing importance of project management as a skill-set that more and more people need in order to contribute effectively to the dynamic business environment. The Award enables candidates to demonstrate that they can effectively manage all elements of a project – people, facilities, information, technology and finance – towards a project goal. Candidates will be required to prove their competence in a wide set of project related skills including the selection and organization of viable projects, project leadership and the management and control of change. The 4cPM Award is designed around six modules of study that follow the naturally occurring phases of a project life cycle. The Award also recognizes and embodies other internationally used methodologies such as PRINCE2, Logical Framework Analysis (Log FRAME) and compliments the GAPP, PMI (PM BOK), IPMA(Body of Knowledge , ICB)
