4cPM Ltd was founded by Sid Stephenson, author of the Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management, in 2007. It is an education project development company with 3 operating objectives:
- Be a Higher Education validating body in associate partnership with University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). CIE quality assures 4cPM's operation, validates and awards the IDPM.
- Develop and sustain and quality assure an international delivery network of CIE branded Accredited Centres to take the IDPM to 150 countries by 2012
- Provide academic support to the World-wide network of Accredited Centres.
NOTE:
Operating objective 3 above will become a separate consultancy company in January 2010. This development has been driven by the increasing pace and scale of Accredited Centre development. A dedicated academic support consultancy will focus on Accredited Centre staff and students and maintaining the CIE academic standards arounf the World.
