THE IDPM RISK+ASSESSMENT TOOL

4cPM has developed a tool to separate an excellent PM working from a poorly supported project environment in order to make a fair judgement of the PM's competence. The tool also identifies a poor PM who may be working in a strongly supported environment.

The Tool is used early in the IDPM tutorial process to produce a formative assessment 'baseline'. Used again at the end of the IDPM programme, the summative assessment compared to the formative, produces a 'distance travelled' or 'earned value' perspective on skill ownership and personal competence.

The outputs of Risk+Assessment Tool can be used to focus the IDPM programme to build on strengths and develop strategies to eradicate weaknesses. The Tool can also be used corporately to support the HR function and advise senior management in business decisions.

Delivery Partners

4cPM has 2 strands of strategy:

(1) Direct recruitment and delivery of the IDPM
(2) Indirect recruitment and delivery through a World-wide 'HUB+SPOKE network of 4cPM Accredited Centres

The target at (2) above is to have 4cPM Accredited Centres operational in more than 150 countries by 2012. Typical 4cPM Accredited Centres may be:

1) The International Dept. of a College of FE
2) An internationally facing HE Institution
3) An established Training Organisation
4) A multi-national organisation 'In-House' programme
5) Any existing Cambridge (www.cie.org.uk) Delivery Centre
6) A Professional HR and/or Training Consultancy

Accredited Centres will contract with 4cPM to offer the University of Cambridge International Examinations Diploma within the context of an agreed business plan and operating territory.
